Fonseca Guimaraens - Vinhos A port wine company Fonseca, Monteiro & Co was founded by Englishmen in the 18th century in the suburb of Vila Nova de Gaia Porto -Vila Nova de Gaia by Englishmen. Fonseca Guimaraens, often simply called Fonseca, is one of the largest Port wine houses in Portugal.
